Thermal Care of the Neonate
The first MANNERS Neonatal Annual Report,
due to be published in January 2005, shows a high rate
of
hypothermia in preterm babies < 28 weeks. This finding
coincides with the recent release of the CEMACH
presentation package of the report on Project 27/28,
which included similar messages.
The purpose of this meeting is to review
the evidence and discuss management and prevention.
It is
relevant for all professionals involved in perinatal
care.
