- Implementation of Routine Enquiry
The Facts:
- 1 in 4 women in England & Wales
suffer domestic violence at some point
- 2 women are
killed every week by a current or former
partner
- 30% of cases of domestic violence
start during pregnancy
- 90% of violence occurs
when children are in same or next room
- Physical
injuries caused by domestic violence cost
the NHS £1.2bn per
