This is a celebration of 30 years of Antenatal Screening at the Birmingham Blood Centre. Includes lectures on:

HIV
  • Epidemiology of HIV in pregnant women
  • Interventions to prevent mother to baby transmission
  • Care of HIV infected babies and children
Syphilis
  • Management in pregnancy
Hepatitis B
  • Natural history in women
  • Natural history in children
  • West Midlands studies on perinatal transmission & its prevention

Course Fee:
Registration includes lunch, beverages, course pack including CD Rom of presentations and certificate of attendance. Payment can be made by cheque for £30, payable to 'Birmingham and Black Country Strategic Health Authority'  to:
