Why Mothers Die
The 6th Report of the UK Confidential
Enquiries into Maternal Deaths (CEMD) was published
late last year, covering the period 2000-2002. It holds
many important messages on risk factors, causes, management
and prevention.
This meeting will focus on the key aspects
of the report, and include discussions on midwifery
care and psychiatric
causes. It is relevant for all professionals involved
in maternity services, in the community as well as
the acute sector.
