Training Courses

PipMason Consultancy are running a Smoking and Pregnancy course on on 21st/22nd September 2006.  Further information can be found at http://www.pipmason.com/

The next SCTRP 3-day course in London is scheduled for July 3rd - 5th 2006

The three-day Smoking Cessation Treatment and Research Programme (SCTRP) courses are the development of the traditional Maudsley training. The courses are run by some of the leading UK researchers and practitioners (Peter Hajek, Robert West, Gay Sutherland, Hayden McRobbie), focus on methods validated by research, and aim to equip participants with the necessary information and skills to run their own state-of-the-art treatment programmes.

SCTRP Annual 1-day Update and Supervision Day, London, will be held on December 5th 2006

This will be the sixth annual opportunity for graduates of SCTRP courses to learn about new developments in research, treatments, and clinical practice, to "calibrate" their activities, and to share information in this fast-developing field. As usual, the day will include supervision and troubleshooting sessions, and opportunity for networking among 100+ clinicians and service coordinators who usually attend the annual updates.

For further details please contact Janice Rossabi, SCTRP Course Secretary at sctrp@yahoo.co.uk
