Debra works as part of the Antenatal Screening team based at the Perinatal Institute. She is responsible for delivering the training and education components of the national programmes along with the implementation of the Government's commitment in the NHS Plan to ensure effective and appropriate screening programmes for women and children across the West Midlands region.

Debra qualified as a midwife in 1983 and has extensive experience in a levels of midwifery practice including Delivery Suite and spent 10 years as a community midwife and team leader. Prior to joining the Institute Debra worked as Antenatal Screening Coordinator in Worcestershire.
