Dataset
The PEER dataset has been developed following wide consultation. The data items
are all collectable from the standardised maternity record (www.preg.info)
which are already in use in over half of all pregnancies in England. The Institute
has since 2005 also assisted the NHS Information Centre with the development the
national maternity dataset.
The PEER dataset is regularly updated. The table below provides a summary and links
to the latest versions.
