A RUG subgroup chaired by Jason Gardosi has been looking at growth assessment / ultrasound requirement in high risk pregnancies. Serial growth scans should be offered to women where growth surveillance by fundal height measurement (FH) is not possible (e.g. high BMI, fibroids) or who are at high-risk for IUGR or stillbirth (e.g. previous history, twins).
