A regional audit to assess the quality of images and measurement taken (CRL, BPD, HC, and AC); based on routine print outs of thermal scan images.

An audit of ultrasound measurements was carried out across 18 maternity units in November 2001. It assessed the quality of images used for CRL, BPD, HC, and AC measurements. 1,700 images were taken from 680 patients and classified as ideal, adequate, or un-measurable.
